Hostel pod Voglom with annex Rodica is located in one of the most beautiful locations on the southern shores of Lake Bohinj, 2 km from Ribčev Laz and 3 km from the lower cable car station Vogel.
In 2010 and 2014, hostel pod Voglom was selected as the best hostel in Slovenia in the evaluation of Slovenia's tourist Association, and in 2011 as the 1st hostel in Slovenia we obtained a quality certificate (Hostelling International High Quality).
Hostel pod Voglom has its own beach and is associated with Pac Sports Outdoor Sports centre, located right next to Lake Bohinj. Lake Bohinj and surrounding mountains with hiking and biking trails is an ideal base for sports training programs and workshops in nature. The hostel is also a meeting point for all our sports activities

Pac d.o.o. is a company that runs 2 hostels, one apartment house and one family house for rent. There is also an outdoor sports agency at Hostel pod Vglom, located just by the Bohinj Lake.

We try to assure the guests who come to Bohinj, Triglav National Park, interesting and unforgettable holidays.

Facilities

The place is actually a hostel and not really prepared to welcome campers. Price value relation does not match and I can’t really understand why this location is part of the roadsurfers spot recommendations.
However the crew did their best to accommodate us. Hence 4* for their efforts.
