Oasis of peace

Description

Creating a completely autonomous oasis of peace, open to travellers and vanlifers around the world, based on respect for nature and against waste. For a maximum of 5 vans / campers/ tents (max. 2 people) is prepared about 1/2 hectare of natural ground, surrounded by almond trees without separate parcels.
The whole area is a „Living Gallery” of handcrafted furniture made of waste materials (the hosts are artists and long-term promoters of upcycling, they create their Eco Design.
Our guests can both admire and use the artistic installations prepared especially for them, such as: Summer kitchens, tree house, summer shower, sanitary facilities, chill zones hammocks, places for meditation, chill, barbecue and permaculture garden - all in the spirit of conscious Upcycling Design.
In the renovated 150 years old village buildings we have prepared, among others, guest rooms, an intimate bar, toilets with a large family shower, washing machine. We have a place for free use of WIFI.

Bonfires are forbidden from May to October due to fires.
We create our place respecting nature, being environmentally conscious, demanding waste segregation and responsible water consumption.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your spot up to 7 days before arrival, you will be refunded 100% of the rental price, but not the service fee. If you cancel the booked spot less than 7 days before the planned arrival, no refund will be made.

Paulina & Bart - we're Eco Artists, we do what we love, we are free and faithful to our life values. We have been building our life together for 20 years. For 6 years we have been creating a brand REC.ON - upcycling design. We live in Andalusia and here we are creating an Artist Residency & "Living "Gallery of Upcycling.

"This is not your everyday campground" is what someone said when the guests of the Spot sat together at night enjoying great bread, olive oil and red wine that was provided by the host. She could not have said it better.

The beauty of staying here does not necessarily come from a perfect pitch but every single detail of the experience that pays into turning it simply beautiful:
- the creativity that the hosts have to create so many little spots within the spots to hang out, relax, work (if you have to), enjoy vegetables from the garden (free during your stay), have wine together at night.
- all amenities are there: Clean toilets, hot showers, WiFi, free coffee in the morning

A perfect end of the stay was when I woke up in the morning I found fresh bread as a present on my van.

This is a spot you MUST experience when you have the chance. But be careful: you might want to stay there forever

We had a wonderful time here! Paulina and Bart are super lovely hosts and helped with everything we needed.
Waking up, Paulina put a baguette on our van, Bart prepared coffee and throughout the day we enjoyed bread with their homemade olive oil. I cannot recommend staying here more! Also if you need to get some work done - you will find a separate very cosy room with good wifi connection! We enjoyed our time here so much and I cannot wait to visit again very soon!
