Description

Katiesfarmhouse is located on the outskirts of Haag in the middle of the beautiful Steigerwald Nature Park.
It's a great place to go for a walk and enjoy the hilly natural landscape.
In the winter months of Dec/Jan, you can also go sledding, depending on the weather.
Haag used to be a climatic health resort.
At our farm, experienced riders can book a ride or children can also take lessons.
If you don't want to go for a walk on your own, our pony Pippa will be happy to accompany you on one of our described walks. You can stop off at an inn in the neighbouring village and enjoy the Franconian cuisine. There is also a large beer garden.
The campsite is close to our house and the horses' open stables. From there you can watch the horses and possibly cows. A fireplace and the large terrace can also be used.
There is also a very nice new playground for children in the village.

Ein wunderbarer Ort um seine Seele baumeln zu lassen. Der Ausblick ist fabelhaft! Der Romantischer Sonnenaufgang und ein gigantischer Sternenhimmel sind garantiert.

Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich. Wir durften mit Kind zusammen zu den Pferden. Das war für unsere 3 jährige Tochter ein aufregendes Erlebnis. Zusammen beim Lagerfeuer sitzen war das Highlight des Abends.
Für alle die zusätzliche Zweisamkeit genießen wollen, gibt es auf dem Hof eine sensationelle Wohnung zum mieten.
In allem war es eine schöne Zeit, da die Gestfreudschaft und die Location 100% überzeugt hat.

We camped with a tent, the communication with the owners was really easy and nice, they speak fluent English.
The view is breathtaking, nature at his best, you could see the horses and the beautiful farmhouse.
The owner took care for the fire for us so we will have enough woods.
There is electricity and water easy to reach.
No toilets but we didn’t need it , you can do it in the nature ;) ,
Great , friendly hospitality .
